Obituary of Leroy Arthur Jackson
It is with profound sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Leroy Jackson at his home on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at the age of 81 years. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Bev; son Gregg (Elise), grandsons, Ryan and Carter; son Corey (Bonnie), grandson Drew (Sarah), great-grandsons, Kace and Jude, and grandson Lee (Sabrina); daughter Shannon (Daryl), grandsons, Tanner and Ty (Shaylynn); son Craig (Janine), grandson Davin (Alexandria) and his only granddaughter MacKenna; and brothers, Don (Gemma), Garry (Betty), Bob (Anne) and Dave (Angie). Leroy was a proud farmer on the family farm near Parry where he raised his family. He was also a jack-of-all-trades and earned community recognition as the “Maytag Repairman.” Leroy and Bev retired to a condominium in Regina in 2012. They have enjoyed the many coffee visits with family and friends along with the consumption of Timbits. Bev is grateful for the Home Care Services and assistance from the SHA in fulfilling Leroy’s wishes to remain at home. She also thanks their children for their compassionate care and assistance during this time. No formal funeral service will be held at this time. Friends so wishing, may make donations in his memory to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan Inc., 2550 12th Avenue, Regina, SK, S4P 3X1.
