Obituary of Jacqueline Anne Scott

Jackie, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at the age of 88 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Rita Dunsmore; sister Lorna Maifeld; and brother Richie Dunsmore. Jackie is survived by her husband, Len Scott; three children, Jeff (Barb), Katie and Michael (Leigh Anne); nine grandchildren, Sean (Shawna), Kalene (Devin), Ryan, Mathew, Alexander, Kieran, Chad, Jessica, and Sydney; one great-granddaughter, Harper; brother-in-law, Ernie Maifeld; sister-in-law and husband Elsie and Dan George; as well as nieces.  She was born on October 11, 1931 in Brooks, Alberta and moved to Regina with her parents and sister in 1942. After high school, Jackie worked as a stenographer for Saskatchewan Land Titles and Imperial Oil. She married Len Scott on May 5, 1956. They lived on the farm south of Cupar until 1989 then moved to the cottage at B-Say-Tah, SK. For Jackie family came first, but she also found time to discuss politics and current events, to garden, read books and go cross-country skiing. She was resourceful, independent minded and had a fun and playful side. A private family burial will be held in the Cupar Cemetery at a later date.
