Hi Rob:
Your parents gave me this picture your dad took for my wedding in 1983. I still have it on the wall over our headboard. I think of them often.

To the Ramsay family,
We are sorry to hear of the passing of Blenda. We have many memories when your family lived across the street on England Road including some of your backyard get togethers with the neighbors.
I still have the recipe book that Blenda gave me and the molasses cookie recipe was my favorite, plus a few others. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Margaret on behalf of the Duperreault family.

We wish to send our condolences to Blenda's family. Blenda was the first person to welcome us to the Post-polio group. Fred and Blenda worked tirelessly on producing the association's newsletter and distributing information on Post-Polio Syndrome for many years. Blenda was one of the founding members of Polio Regina Inc. and continued contributing to it's growth and well-being. Blenda was a lovely lady who was kind, graceful and dignified. Everyone loved her. We will miss her.

Pam, we send you and your family our deepest sympathy in the loss of your Mom. When my Mom died in 1991 a co-worker told me there is nobody like your Mom and she was so right. Since then when someone loses their mother I share these thoughts. Although I only met your Mom once (at Harbour Landing) I know that she has given you and Karly many precious memories.
May she rest in peace.

I have so many great memories of staying at the Ramsay house when I was young. Once I moved to Regina, I enjoyed running into Fred and Blenda more regularly. I’m so happy that I had the opportunity to take my mom to visit Blenda not long after she moved into Harbour Landing Village. My heart goes out to all of the Ramsay family.

The most wonderful woman around, with ears to listen, a heart to give and positivity to shed light. I am so proud to call her my Nana Banana and a Best Friend of 39 years. There was a tradition I had every time I went over, grill cheese sandwich and Good Host ice tea. She would sit at the kitchen table with me while I would eat with comfort knowing I was loved and heard. Going to miss the heck out of this women xoxo.

Rob, my condolences on the loss of your mom. There are souls in this world which have the gift of finding joy everywhere and leaving it behind them when they go. Frederick William Faber. From the beautifully written obituary it sounds like your mom was one of those people. So was your dad. I knew Fred from sending him off on his writing and photo assignments for SaskPower with a luxury pool car! He was such a character and he made me laugh often. It sounds like your mom was a match in that department and heaven will be laughing with them being united again. No matter the age or circumstances it is still hard to say goodbye. Take care.
