Obituary of Sherilyn Amanda Templeton

Sherilyn Amanda Templeton, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on the morning of Saturday, May 30, 2020 after a brief battle with cancer. Sherilyn was born on November 2, 1953. She will be dearly missed by her husband Tom; sons Brian and Jeff; granddaughter Mya; brothers Mel Allen (Pat) and Don Allen; sister Doris Burdon (Ron); brother-in-law Barrie Templeton (Audrey) sisters-in-law Robin Kuntz (Marty), Linda Piovesan (Rick), and Betty Elliott (Greg). She also touched the hearts of her many nieces, nephews, and friends with her infectious laugh and humorous approach to life. She had a love for dogs and a special ability to train them. Some called her the “Dog Whisperer.” She especially enjoyed time at the family cottage at Katepwa Lake hosting many parties and family reunions. The family would like to especially thank the Pasqua Hospital Palliative Care team for their outstanding care and compassion. The family will gather for a celebration of Sherilyn’s life with the hope of having a gathering for her many friends at a later date.
