My deepest condolences Mr.Dempsey and family. Mrs.Dempsey was my grade 2/3 teacher and I have so many fond memories of her. She passed on so many lessons to me at that age and I still practice them to this day. She made everyone feel so loved in her classroom and made going to school so enjoyable. In later years seeing her uplifting and always positive Facebook posts added a ray of sunshine to every single day. Mrs.Dempsey truly was one in a million and will be greatly missed by many.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family Bob. Mrs.dempsey was my absolute favourite teacher throughout my years of education at Walker Elementary. She always put a smile on my face and I will never forget the many days spent with her and little Molly when you guys moved in just down the street. The world lost an amazing soul and an even better teacher.

My condolences to you and your family, Bob. I was so sorry to hear of Carol's passing. I've known of her most recently through your work with us, but I taught with Carol at Dr. Hanna many years ago! She was a special lady and fun to work with. I'm sure many Grade 2 students carry warm memories in their hearts!

I remember Mrs. Dempsey from my time at Glen Elm School as a student in the 80s. She was never my classroom teacher, but she was my cheerleading coach. She was a wonderful, positive, kind, fun-loving woman. She led us to many championships in cheer competitions. She was very proud of us. I made up cheer choreography and she was always very excited and encouraging about it. A lovely soul. My condolences to her family and friends.

Carol was a grade two teacher at George Lee school. Always happy, very patient and loving with her students. My deepest sympathy Bob...not an easy time for those of you left behind. Grief is hard work and it doesn’t go away. Take care of yourself.

Think some of my earliest memories were when Darren and I were in our teens and visiting in their home in uplands. A very warm cheerful personality and always full of humor. I always had to make sure I said hello to them in passing as every so often I would run into Darren's folks out eating some place. However sorry to hear your loss of a great mother and friend. All the best.
