Obituary of Vernon Stone Hamilton

Vernon Stone Hamilton, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully at the age of 88 years at Spruce Lane Care Home in Regina, SK. Father of Vernon John ( Arlene),  Norman Paul (Joanne), Beverley Susan, James Glenn and Allen Scott (Marilynne); and grandfather of thirteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Vernon was born in New Glasgow, NS, on August 2, 1931. He served in the R.C.A.F from 1948 – 1955, as a Communications Operator.  In 1956 he joined TCA/ Air Canada as a flight Dispatcher and was there from 1956 – 1982, in Toronto and Montreal, retiring in Barrie ON in 1982. Vernon arrived in Regina in 1998. He was a member of St. Luke’s Anglican Church, and the Royal Canadian Legion, also the R.C.A.F. Association. Funeral Service will be held in Nova Scotia.  Flowers gratefully declined and donations in Vernon’s memory may be made to a charity of choice.
