We want to express our sympathy to the Archer and Knight families and let you know that our thoughts are with you.
I have many fond memories of Myrna ... the fondue parties on Aberdeen, the baby shower she arranged for our oldest, the crafts she made and oooh those chocolates!!
To me, Myrna will always be a mentor and role model, for young women in particular.
Although she struggled with health issues most of her adult life, Myrna always put the interests and well-being of others first.
Myrna, you will be missed; however always fondly remembered.
Darlene and John Marchuk

We are so sad to hear about Myrna's passing. It seems like only yesterday that she was doing her graduate work in the Department of Political Science at the University Regina. She was such a bright student, Many long discussions about politics as you might expect. Her work with intergovernmental affairs was always exemplary. Beyond that she had great compassion for the less fortunate in society and a strong sense of justice and equality. We will miss you Myrna. Ede and Howard

My thoughts and prayers are with you as you try to absorb and deal with the loss of Myrna! She was a warm and wonderful person; so capable; so gentle and kind. It was a privilege to know her. She taught me much.
Myrna would have done well at whatever she set her mind to. Her manner with people was exceptional. In a very short time, before her illness forced her to discontinue, she was among the top consultants in Canada - and this was while working full-time. I also have to say, in all sincerity, I have never seen anyone wear lipstick as well as Myrna.
The photos show Myrna receiving a pin for an accomplishment; wearing a red jacket, which was a symbol of success; waiting to go onstage for recognition; and with our National Sales Director.

Bill and Tessa send condolences on this sad day. Myrna is in our thoughts and memories. We are sorry we can’t be there with you, but we appreciate joining the service from Ottawa via video. So glad we had a chance to see Myrna in February.
Bill remembers Myrna sending along her Master’s Thesis with the note that she thought he would be the only one of the Knights to actually read it. He did!
Bill will miss having Myrna to compare and add to the Knight family genealogy, especially their sharing of pictures and stories.
We are thinking of you all today
Bill and Tessa

My mother Mildred and I want to express our deepest condolences to all of Myrna's family .Mildred and I had an amazing 12 plus years sharing our love of books in the book club that Myrna founded - The Knight Owls. Every month on the 4th Thursday we met mostly at Myrna's place to discuss the merits, good and bad of that months book. But our conversation and debate did not end there. Our conversations naturally flowed in to politics, social justice issues and of course family. We got to see how much family meant in Myrna's life. We feel so priviledged that we had the opportunity to become part of Myrna's book club family. Myrna's wit, humor, and understanding of social justice issues was a gift to us all.

Myrna thought the best of everyone, me included. Her encouragement lifted us to be our better selves - which is the finest tribute we can give her, to be better, and to make the world a better place, just as she always worked for... My heart aches with yours, and my prayers are with her and you all. I am grateful and blessed to have known her...

I enjoyed my political connection with Myrna during the Ned Shillington years. One project I remember well was creating the Tommy Douglas calendar with Myrna and Barry Lipton. It raised a lot of money!
She was a good soul and I will remember her well.

To Myrna’s large extended family, please accept my condolences. Myrna sure was an activist and always had insights that were well researched and thought out. I particularly loved all her family photos of her beloved great nieces and nephews. Thinking of all Myrna’s family and friends as they remember a really fine woman.

I am so sorry to hear of Myrna's passing, we spent a lot of time together in our younger years. I was alway grateful for Myrna's friendship and support during some of my troubled times. Myrna's love of politics and commitment to human rights influenced my decision in choosing a major while completing my post secondary education. She will truly be missed and may she Rest In Peace. Prayers and hugs to her family who have had to say goodbye to this wonderful lady.
