Obituary of Margaret Effie Davidson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margaret Davidson of Regina, SK on Sunday July 5, 2020. She was predeceased by her loving husband Keith; grandsons Ian Harrower and Landon Davidson; brother Norton; sister Irene; brother-in-law John; niece Kim Sigurdson; parents, Annie and Gustave Sigurdson; Keith’s parents Bill and Maryann Davidson; as well as several members of Marg and Keith’s family. Marg is lovingly remembered by her children, son Barry (Jamie) and their children, Breeann (Kirk) DeHaven, great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Mason and Georgia, sons, Dalin (Asanti) and Joel and his son Jamieson; daughters, Heather (Jason) Brandt and their sons, Kyle (Marion) and Kevin, and Denise (Scott) Harrower and their daughter Rachel (Jesse); brother Lloyd (Diane) Sigurdson; sister-in-law Alberta (Orville) as well numerous other relatives. Marg was born in Swan River, MB on April 10, 1931. She moved to New Westminster, BC to live with her grandparents after school and then on to Winnipeg where she met the love of her life, Keith. They were married in Edmonton where their three children were born. Mom worked for Safeway for many years. Marg and Keith loved spending time in Shellmouth, MB in the summer with their children, grandchildren and extended family. In their retirement years they loved to travel. Mom loved country music, some of her favorites included, Patsy Cline, Charlie Pride and most recently Johnny Reid. We will miss her beautiful smile and wonderful sense of humour. She was a wonderful, caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother she will be greatly missed.
