Obituary of Adrian Aurel Popovici

Adrian Aurel Popovici passed away peacefully on August 30, 2020 at 80 years old at his home in Regina. He was born on June 2, 1940 to Aurelian and Evelyn Popovici (nee Bansescu) and was raised in Regina.  Adrian studied music and art throughout his life and produced many paintings. He attended the Orthodox Seminary in New York City before returning to Regina where he began to teach music and was an accomplished Flamenco guitar player and artist up until his death.

Adrian is survived by his nine children Nina Chatelain, Heather Tarnai-Feeley, John, Michaela, Miriam, Christina, Deborah, James and Francis Popovici; three grandchildren Jacelyn, Justin and Ava Rose; younger brother Darryl (Deborah) Gradiner; and niece Dana Hopkins and her three children.
