WILSON, Wesley Edward

1951 – 2020

After a very brief illness, Wes passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 10, 2020 with Lee at his side. He was predeceased by his parents, his younger brother, Dale, and several friends along the way.   Wes will be remembered by his partner and best friend, Lee Roulston; her son, Brian and his family; sisters, Audrey (Wally - deceased) and Colleen (Al); several nieces and nephews; and his “kitties” Scruffy and Tiny. He loved to make people laugh, was a huge Rider fan, loved cats, watched the “Trump” station faithfully and enjoyed arguing politics among other things. Wes was a collector of many things including trucks, antiques of all kinds, coins and all kinds of old documents. He was a self-taught handyman who could visualize renovations like no one else.  Wes was very proud of the beautiful, huge yard he and Lee nurtured for 20 years and especially enjoyed sitting around the swimming pool having a cool one with friends. As per his wishes there will not be a funeral service, but please stop in at their house for a coffee and share some stories with Lee.
