To my Aunt Marg and my cousins (you know who you are, all nine of you),
From Kavika, Anoushka, Lisa and myself, our heartfelt condolences to the sudden and untimely loss of Uncle Don. Wtf? I personally thought he was going to live forever. Heavy sigh. I knew Uncle Don from some of my earliest first memories in my life, and he was always, and always will be, a prominent figure in my life. Quirky?, sure. Vocal?, yep. Opinionated?, no doubt. Human?, of course. Ultimately a family and overall responsible man, absolutely. Heavy sigh x2.
I told my Mom that I personally will lean to remembering all his good qualities and leave at that.
Our thoughts here in Vancouver are with everyone, and I also personally regret that I'm not there right now to visit and reminisce with everyone there about Uncle Don, and catch up. Indeed, life and time goes by way to fast …
