Tim and I are so very sorry to hear of your loss. I've known the Taylor family my entire life. Bill & Ruth were friends of my parents, Harold & Alice Reid. But in the last few years, after my mom's passing, Ruth became like a mom to me. I loved her dearly, and will miss our trips together to the cemetery and our visits. Virtual hugs to all of the Taylor family.

My deepest sympathy to all of Ruth's family on her passing. Ruth and I and our late husbands, Bill and Frank, were friends for many years, enjoying camping trips, travel adventures and for Ruth and I school days and bridge games. But always special were Ruth's wit and hospitality. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

My mother, Gladys Tweed along with my sister Cheryl from Calgary joined Ruth and her daughter Laura for a lovely visit one evening where both Ruth and Gladys resided at Broadway Terrace. We had a lovely time with good conversation and lots of laughs. Ruth was fairly new to living at BT but from there on in and for quite a few years I would cross paths with Ruth. She was always so funny and so sharp. Ruth was so interested in the people around her and I felt that Laura and I had much in common with our mothers who were extraordinary. Laura, I am so sorry for your loss and my condolences to you and your family.

Ruth and I worked together at Hansard and became good friends there. We had another connection in that my parents had known Ruth's father, Gerry Bryden. She was a wonderful, kind, thoughtful, and witty person and I will always think fondly of her. My condolences to her family, who were so important to her.

Dear Jimmy and all in the Taylor family, we are very sorry for your loss. While we didn't know Ruth judging from knowing at least one of her children and two of her grand children we can only imagine that those good apples fell close to a fabulous tree. The photo and obit speak to a life well lived and we celebrate that life with you while sending you hugs and good thoughts as you deal with your grief. Warmest wishes from Holt Christiane and Max
