Sad to hear this news. Last email from Bill was on November 18th, 2020. We had an email correspondence over everything Aviation for the past 20 odd years. Bill was the driving force behind the old Aviation bulletin board and kept the communications flowing even after many users migrated over to social media. He never stopped sharing news, photos, and stories, about everything from his family and friends, to the joys of flying, and some simple laughs from cartoons that never failed to brighten my day. Bill was one of a kind, and while his nearest and dearest know this better than anyone, I hope there is some comfort for you who are closest to him, to know the extent to which Bill enriched so many lives.

Dear Judy, Scott and Christa, I struggle deeply with the knowledge that Bill is no longer in our midst. I have benefitted from a relationship that stretches over 50 years, from electronic parts to radio control devices to computers. Bill was always wealth of information and always willing to share and help. He was a consummate technician and totally reliable. And then we started the PCuser’s group and our friendship deepened. His shepherding us around the city for our monthly dinner meetings was something to which I always looked forward . Bill was a story teller supreme and some of these ended up in the books he published. It is sad that Sage, the joy of his life, will never get to know this gentle giant of a man. My life is richer having known Bill for so long under so many hats. And your sorrow will be as great not having him any longer in your midst. Being a victim to COVID makes it all the more difficult to accept. I wish you peace and strength as you pass through this painful time. You do not travel travel the road alone. Jim Toth
