Dear Don: I am so sorry to hear of Mary's passing. I had just decided this am to try and find a contact for you two, as it has been so many years since I have seen you. I am planning a trip back to Regina sometime as soon as we can travel and would have liked to touch base. Vic Passed away July 2017 and it has been a very lonely time since. So glad you have the boys and your grandchildren close. If you receive this my email is bevking@shaw.ca. Would love to hear from you.

I worked with Mary for many years. She was a great worker - no surprise! She was always pleasant and had a great sense of humour. We had many laughs together. My deepest condolences to her family. Marj Farmer

Don, Darren and Mark,
I was saddened to read of Mary’s passing. She was a extraordinary person. I remember all of her time spent volunteering at Herchmer, she always there when we needed a hand. My sincerest condolences to all of you and may the memories of Mary/Mom bring you comfort in your time of sorrow. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Thank you so much Don. I always recalled whenever we’d see you how much admiration you had for our family, and especially Mom. She was the real deal and will be missed so much. But she’s part of us all and the spirit of Mom will 100% live on through her grandkids. Dad was lucky to call her his wife, and Mark and Darren even luckier to call her Mom. Thanks again - Don, Darren, Mark & families.

So happy to hear you were able to watch it Mary. So many wonderful memories of our families out at the range over the years and know that you and Mom had nothing but fun and friendship then and all the years following. And thank you for the phone call on Sunday. Myself and Mark will not be shy to reach out if we need some insight into things as we move into the new world with where we are headed next. Don, Darren, Mark and families.

Uncle Donny, Darren, Mark and families, I was so saddened by Aunt Mary’s passing. I know how important she was to all of you and many others. I will always remember how she made me feel; cared for and loved by her. Even when I moved away my mom would always tell me about Aunt Mary and all of you and told me how Aunt Mary always asked about us. She truly will be missed and my heart is heavy. The service was beautiful and all of your stories provided a beautiful and fitting tribute to a very busy and talkative lady! Much love to you all. Linda and Nelson Filek

Thank you Linda and Nelson for your thoughts from all of us. Linda as the only girl on the Simpson side of all us cousins Mom always loved keeping up with your endeavours, and as you stated always wanted to know how you were keeping. She will be missed so much, and over time we will come around to celebrating all the goodness and positivity she infused into us all. Take care. Uncle Don, Darren, Mark & families.

Thank you Mike. We had a pretty good life as families growing up next to each other on King Street, and Mom certainly had a big part in all of that. She was always willing to help out with all us kids and there was a lot of us between our two households! Thanks from all of us Mike for your thoughts.

Thank you so much Spanier family. Mom sure liked Darryl’s spunky attitude and fun nature over the years, and we were so happy to hear that he was one of those special patients she chatted with pre-surgery some years back. Don, Darren, Mark and families.

Our sincere condolences go out to Don, Darren, Mark and family. We are eternally grateful for the kindness and guidance Don and Mary showed us during our first year of marriage. We will always remember the help and friendship extended to us by Don and Mary during our year and a half as your tenants. Mary was always there to help us through the trying times in raising our new born son, Michael. Nothing was ever a problem for Mary, she knew what to do being a nurse and a mom herself. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Randy and Sandra Clarke.
