Thank you Uncle Lee (and Auntie Irene, and all Schnells) for being great friends of the Franks. Uncle Lee was a treasured friend of my Mom and Dad - authentic, enjoyed fun, and always someone to look forward to seeing. A great camper, card player, and golfer. Thank you, and our condolences. Rest in Peace. Rod, Edi, Michael and Riley

To Auntie Irene, Leeann, Craig, Gary, Kelly and Tom and your families,
I cannot express how sad we are to hear of Uncle Lees' passing. The memories we have of spending time camping at Yoho, Tween Lakes, our parents playing hours of cards are immeasurable. We all loved when your Dad and Mom would visit, it was full of laughter. My Mom and Dad cherished your parents and the holidays they spent together. Even though they were just "friends", in my parents hearts they were closer than family. Your Dad was one in a million and we loved him very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Our condolences to Auntie Irene and family. Always enjoyed our visits with all of you as we grew up, our many visits to Regina and your visits to Saskatoon are cherished memories that will never be forgotten. I believe these words are very true and I don’t know who said them, it goes something like this about memories. It is not the words people remember its how you made them feel, uncle lee always made you feel included and appreciated, always glad to see you. Sending our love to you all, Pat and Diane Bourassa.

My fondest memories of uncle Lee are mostly based around the cabin, the golf course and certainly being allowed to play cards at the adult table as a child. I think Uncle Lee might have been the first exposure I had to charcoal Barbeque as well as I remember the turkeys he used to do on his Weber. Lots of good memories surrounded by laughter. He was loved and will be missed. My deepest condolences to Auntie Irene, my cousins and their families.
Love Nevin, Tracey, Callum and Danielle

Irene and Family. I am sad to see that Lee passed away. He had a life well lived! Lee and Irene were my family in Osoyoos for many years, I met many of you over the years there. I will never forget the games of dominos or the card games we played. Lee's records of everything were second to non, he could tell you the scores of the game we had 2 years before to what the temperature was that day. Just saying that brings a smile to my face. Lee and you Irene were there to support me when I needed a shoulder, a kindness I will never forget. Please accept my deepest sympathy and may your fond memories help you through the days ahead. So many awesome memories of Uncle Lee. He was one of the best story tellers I knew and always had a way of making a person smile. Growing up I remember the hours Uncle Lee, Auntie Irene and mom and dad spent playing cards when they visited. Thoughts and prayers are extended to Auntie Irene and the entire Schnell family.
