Benny was a genius in his own right. If he saw a need, he would figure out how to solve it using whatever he had on hand. He was the king of reusing and recycling. He didn't need to draw out complicated plans - he just figured things out in his head. He was so good with his hands and could make something out of nothing. I always admired that about him. Take care and virtual hugs and love to Jessie, Deanna, James & Jacob, Kenny, Wannetta, Jason, Liam, Livia, and Lincoln.The proof of his successful, well lived and loved life is in you.

We remember our dear friend Mr. Benny Yee with love and gratitude. He was an essential member of the Chinese Cultural Society and acted as our Treasurer and Director for many years. We will miss Benny’s strength, generosity and goodwill. He always had whatever tools we needed “in the back of [his] van” and could fix or build or repair anything. He had strong opinions, but was open-minded, could see the humour in things and appreciated good food and the banquet of life, and gave freely of his time and energy to those he cared about. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jessie & Deanna, Wannetta & Kenny, and the Yee family.
