I will miss Auntie Olie. A lot. She lived far away but I always knew I could pick up the phone and chat with her. And there were always lots of laughs. I loved her laugh. I have such great memories. She made the best ham salad and the best fruit salad - I always requested them when I visited and she always delivered! Both Olie and Joe were so wonderful with my family - even offered up "turn-down service" when we paid them a visit - complete with chocolates on the pillows! It gives me comfort to think that she is now with Uncle Joe watching football and eating out of his chocolate stash.
My family and I offer up our condolences to all my cousins - Anne-Marie, Mark, Cathy and Clare - and their families.

Sending our condolences to you Anne Marie, Mark, Cathy and Clare and families. I remember my younger years when I would stay at your Grandma's overnight and like to bother your Mom and Aunt Marlene. I truly enjoyed all my visits with yoour Mom and Dad. She had a lovely smile and a joy to visit. RIP Olie

I want to extend my deep sympathy and condolences to Olie's family. No matter what the subject we discussed talking with Olie left my heart lighter. Her immense love for her friends and family was visible to all. Losing Olie has left the world a little dimmer place to be but my memories of her will be cherished ones.

I want to extend my deepest sympathy to Olympia`s family. My parents were very close friends of her parents .. and my wife, Bernadette (Lipoth) was one of Mark`s favorite teachers. Olympia was a special, caring person .. as were her parents for whom I had the highest regard.

Olie was a wonderful friend and neighbour to my mum, Audrey at Broadway Terrace. She called mum every evening to tell her that Murdoch Mysteries was on. She was a wonderful comfort to me when my mum passed away in January 2018. Many hugs and tears were shared. May all of your wonderful memories become treasures as we all share in your sadness as you remember your mom.

I was saddened to hear about the passing of your mother/ grandmother. I have many great memories of "Mrs Gattinger" who was my piano teacher in my younger years as well as friends of my parents. I can still see her standing beside the piano saying the notes as I was playing or giving Mark heck because he was distracting us. She always had a smile and something positive to say.
Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Our condolences to all Aunt Ollie's family -- Anne-Marie, Mark, Cathy, Clare -- and their families. Aunt Ollie is a wonderfully kind person. We always remember her 'little laugh' whenever Uncle Joe had something humorous to say or show. Rest in Peace, Aunt Ollie.

With a broken heart I send this message. Olie was a wonderful compassionate lady. Many peoples' lives were enriched. She touched so many in her years with WW, it was never the same after Olie retired. She loved her family her faith and a good joke. Her smile and laughter will remain with me.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Ollie Gattinger. Ollie was a dear friend to my mother, Nora Wickenheiser as they raised their families together. They shared many laughs and much support over the years. They continued on as neighbours at Broadway Terrace where I can't remember a visit that I didn't see Ollie where she shared a cheerful greeting, a story and a laugh. She will be truly missed. We were blessed to have her in our lives. Her memory and all the lessons in faith and friendship will live in on in all she touched.
