Dear Jenny, Tim and Alex,
I am so sorry to hear this sad news. Joan helped me deal with chronic pain through her massage therapy treatments for a number of years. Sadly, I lost touch with her when she moved from Maple Creek to Eastend.
I will remember her strength as a woman, Mother and Grandmother. She was talented in many ways and most of all handled difficulties with grace under pressure. She not only provided massage therapy but life wisdom. I appreciate the gift of her wisdom now more than ever.
Sincerely,
Lizabeth Nicholls

Dear Jenny, Tim & Alex
We were sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She always seemed to be well grounded, with a sense for practicality, a pleasant personality that anyone could be a friend with, and a fetching laugh always at the ready.

I knew Joan through her magic hands and fingers. She was the only one who managed to fix my right shoulder. She worked carefully on my mom and I was sorry when she left Regina to return to Maple Creek. I was lucky enough to visit her there. She toured me around the area and I saw and learned so much from her. She was always willing to share what she had and knew.

Jenny, Tim and Alex, I am sorry to hear that your mom died. I knew Joan for a long time and I really appreciated her in many ways. She was a world class masseuse and a great listener. I loved her unusual sense of humour and her abilities to create beautiful things with her hands. She was a good and strong woman. I remember her with a smile. Louise Murray
