The world has lost a kind, gentle man.

 Aubrey Hicks passed away, in Regina, SK, on Friday, January 15, 2021.

He was predeceased by his parents, Wesley and Violet Hicks and parents-in-law, John and Olive Thul of Moose Jaw (Marquis).  Aubrey is survived by his wife, Brenda; daughter, Tammy; grandchildren, Carson and Abby; and his sons, Dan (Jocelyn) and Scott (Wendy).

Aubrey enjoyed a rewarding career at SaskTel, retiring in 1998, later teaching I.T. at SIAST in Moose Jaw and then working as an I.T. Consultant for the SHA, where he worked until just before his passing. Aubrey’s wife, children and grandchildren were the “pride and joys of his life.”

 In lieu of flowers, go for a skate at an outdoor rink; get comfy in your chair, grab a bag of black licorice and watch a John Wayne movie or an episode of Murder She Wrote; read a book; go browse around Princess Auto; or enjoy some wings at Earls; hug your kids, your grandkids and your loved ones extra tight, and know that he is right there beside you.
