I would like to offer my deepest sympathies to the family and friends of André. I taught with André at Laval PSQV and have known him for over 10 years in various contexts. I am devastated and shocked to learn of the passing of this truly lovely man. I had the privilege of working with André at the admissions table during a few of our volleyball and basketball games. This gave us a chance to engage in several long discussions about various topics. I always felt happier and more positive about life whenever I had the chance to interact with André. He shone a light of positivity and had an exquisite sense of humour. André genuinely loved people. He was very sweet and loving to my 6 year old daughter when she accompanied me at the school during sporting events. André was always willing to help and serve his community and was a truly positive role model to others through his actions. To the family and friends of André, please rest assured that his memory will live forever in our hearts.

Heartfelt sympathies to Chloe and family. Thoughts and Prayers go out to all at home. One of my fondest memories of your Dad, was when we were invited to watch the Riders take on the BC lions at the Old Mosaic stadium on Sep 2013. Thanks to your Dad’s season tickets, the game was a very memorable day!

André, tu vas nous manquer. Je me souviens du temps quand tu t’es fracturé ta hanche. Malgré la blessure, tu avais une blague pour les ambulanciers. Le bureau au gymnase a connu plusieurs moments d’hilarité. André, we will miss you. Even when you broke your hip at school, you greeted the paramedic with a joke. Our gym office knew many hilarious moments.

Growing up I was always puzzled at how uncle André would root for the bad guys in movies. I have a sneaking suspicion it was to confuse and get a laugh out of us kiddos! Lovely lovely soul, you will be missed.
