We could write a book with the words that this man meant to us and his family. Not a day will go by without us thanking God that we had this man, this legend, this awesome father figure in our lives for the time that we did. My heart breaks that we are living in a world right now where no physical contact has become the “new normal”. Not only has this taken from us one of the greatest men of all time, it has also taken from us the ability to be able to physically give comfort to those we love the most, our family, at one of the lowest points of their lives. Auntie, Daphne, Trevor, Darcy and families please know that we share your pain and that the words we give come from our hearts and surround you with all the love and support that our arms at this time cannot give. RIP Uncle Norm

There is a special connection between cousins born 12 hours apart like Norman and I are. Each birthday I think of Norman because of the 12 hours between us. With the Kindness of family many significant birthdays were celebrated because of the 12 hour birthday separation. Often on those birthday gatherings Norman would say "well I'm older than Marcel". There are no words that can be used to express the feelings for moments like this! Marcel & Jean Vindevoghel

Linda, Daphne (& Meatball), Darcy, Trevor and family: It's hard for me to put into words just how sad I was to hear about Norm's passing. The things I loved about him the most were the same things that made him so frustrating! I always smiled with him, and always felt embraced by him...like family! He will be missed; I will miss him.
