Doug, and family,
We are heart broken. Having spoken to Deb just days before she passed, we are in shock.
We shared so many good times, stories, laughter and love with Deb, you, and your children. When Deb was around, a good time was had by all. We will remember the good times, her laughter, enthusiasm for life and the love she gave to everyone she knew. She touched the hearts of everyone she met.
Wishing you peace to bring you comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to hold forever in your heart.
Our deepest condolences and love to you all ... Hilda ❤️❤️❤️
It is still hard to comprehend that Deb has passed as it was just like yesterday that we had FaceTime chats with her. She was so full of life and energy whenever we got together for a visit. Although she is not with us in person she will always be with us in our hearts. Her infectious laugh and smile was always just a couple of her amazing characteristics.
Always remember the wonderful times you had with each other and cherish them in your heart forever.
My deepest sympathy to you and the family. Darryl❤️❤️❤️

Ken and Sharon, thank you so much for the kind words. Debra was indeed the picture of beauty inside and out. People gravitated to her and she respected those that did and treated them as though they were family. To her, they were family. We had many a laugh as part of the Bison family and we need to hold on to those memories - Doug

Doug and family. I am utterly shocked to hear this news. I knew Deb for 12 years at the Hotel Sask gym. Although you don’t know me I feel that I know all of you from the daily stories while working out. She loved you all very much! I was fortunate to hear all the stories and see the videos of your grandchildren. One memory that stands out the most is Olivias first Christmas. I was going to Hawaii and she asked me if I could find a baby’s first Christmas ornament as she was devastated to not be able to find one here. So glad I was able to find one and personalize it with her name. She was so thrilled. I also admired her support for all the staff at the Hotel Sask. She fought hard to protect every employee and made them feel worthy regardless of their position. Such a remarkable woman. She also introduced me to Raclettes and 19 Crimes wines of which we still enjoy to this day. She has left a big hole in my heart. Sending you all best wishes as you navigate through this unbearable loss. Cheryl Danaher

Thank you Cheryl for sharing this with us. Debra was all about family - immediate and extended. The people that she interacted with at Hotel Sask were definitely part of that family. She touched so many and in a special way that made them feel loved and a part of Debra. When you go to have your next glass of wine think of Debra as I am sure you will and have a glass for her. Thank you again for sharing - Love, Doug

Oh such sad sad news. Doug my deepest condolences to you and your family. I have such beautiful and warm memories of Deb. Her laughter wicked sense of humour and thoughtful ways brought us together. She made going to the gym a welcoming experience and her ever helpful experience made all feel supported and nurtured. Doug I can still see the three of us in your home enjoying some wine, stories and yummy nibbles prior to my more to Vancouver. She will be missed. Tears are falling from my eyes at this deep loss.

So sorry to read of Deb's passing. Deb was my trainer when I joined Ladies Fitness in 1994 after battling cancer myself. Her dedication to family and healthy living motivated many of us ladies at the gym. Although I never saw or spoke to Deb the last 25 plus years, she certainly is someone I never forgot; she definitely made a positive impact on my life.

Just like so many others, I am shocked and saddened to hear about Debra's passing.
I had the pleasure to work with Debra at Hotel Sask, and not only was she great at what she did, but she was amazing in connecting with others on a personal level. We shared many laughs together and she loved telling stories about her grandchildren who she so deeply loved. She would show me videos of the kids or pictures of her trip to Portugal. She spoke with so much love and passion about the people she loved, her family was her everything.
I am sending my condolences to Debra's family and to our team at Hotel Sask, I know this is a great loss for many.
The attached pictured was taken in December 2019 and this is how I will remember Debra, lots of fun and with a big smile on her face and in her heart
