Hello Jim and Trina, I was sorry to hear about your Mom and Mother-in-Law, there is no question you will miss her very much. I have to say I really enjoyed reading her obituary. It seems to me that Anne lived a full life, that her value system was immeasurably strong and that her character contributed immensely to the happiness and well-being of her family, friends and community. I loved reading about the book she wrote. What a special thing to write about and surely a treasure for all of you to cherish. I have a great respect for both of you and when I think about your positive personalities, surely I’m seeing Anne’s influence shining through. My condolences to you and your family on your loss. Thinking of our family in Regina. Aunty Anne was a treasure to our family. We often had long chats on the phone. Cards and letters arrived from Aunty Anne on birthdays etc. Aunty Anne shared her wisdom. When our family members were not well Aunty Anne was right here with us. She was also here to celebrate weddings, a milestone birthday and home purchase. She shared her Heritage with us and Aunty Anne’s smile was contagious. My wife, my sister Geraldine, and my three children offer their profound condolences to family and friends that knew and loved Jim and Donna’s Mom. My “Aunty Annie” made a great difference in my life, both as a child and as adult, and I am forever grateful and beholden to her. She will be much missed but somehow, in a way, I feel that she is now even more part of all our lives, as an angel, where distances no longer count. She was a blessing to us all and is surely with the Creator that she so respectfully honored with her being during her time on earth. Loved and miss you Aunty Annie.

A great lady has left our world and will be missed by many... not just her family. I have known Anne for a lot of years and she truly was one of the finest people I have known. Anne was a dear friend for over 45 years. She was the kindest, most caring, generous and compassionate person I have ever known. In the earlier years, we had so much fun with the Cox’s and Thompson’s - from Medieval dinners, to decorating the Christmas tree at St. Luke’s, to dinner parties where Anne often provided the most scrumptious desserts. Her undying faith and the love of her family saw her through some challenges in later life. Donna and Jim were there for her throughout. She loved you dearly and appreciated everything you did for her. She had so much pride for her grandchildren. It was so nice to see her so happy and engaged in the activities at Arbor Oaks Manor for the past few months. Everyone who knew and loved her will miss her. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family as you mourn the loss of your dear mother and grandmother. Heather and Mait
