Born to Pauline and Joseph Domm on October 29, 1932, Anne passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021.   Cherishing her memory are her children Jim (Trina) Fallows and Donna (Darren) Pulock of Regina, and Anne’s absolute pride and joy, her grandchildren Kyan Benesh (Amanda) and Nolan Benesh (Breanne Kelly). She was predeceased by her parents; husband Don; a son at birth; her brothers Anton, Jack, Rudy, John, and Mike; sisters Kay, Rose, and Helen; and her granddaughter Kimberly. Anne leaves behind friends of all ages from all stages of her life. From her childhood in Regina, to friendships made in Winnipeg and Saskatoon, through working at Eaton’s and with Regina Public Schools, where she retired from Dr. A.E. Perry School. She especially enjoyed her later year friendships at Meadow Park Place. Anne embodied the qualities of kindness and charity, and made everyone feel special. She never forgot a special occasion, and always sent carefully selected cards to her long list of family and friends. Anne greeted everyone with a warm smile and “hello”, and gave others all of her attention. If you needed five minutes to talk, Anne had five minutes to listen. She was selfless and giving, and “how can I help?” was a frequently asked question. Anne unconditionally loved, supported, and encouraged her children and grandchildren. She was the #1 fan at her grandsons’ activities and often provided her infamous baking when the events concluded. Anne was also a fan of curling and baseball - “Go Jays”! She was a devout Christian, and her relationship with God was extremely important to her. Anne was a humble woman of seemingly infinite patience and graciousness, and handled life’s challenges with courage and faith. She was proud to have “Through Annie’s Eyes” bring to life her family’s story from Poland to Canada. She taught many life lessons in this book: hard work, self-awareness, honesty, putting others first, gratitude, handling the good and bad with integrity and faith, and the importance of family. Anne resided at Arbor Oaks Manor Care Home, and was so happy and proud to be an Arbor Oaks family member! We thank you for providing such exceptional care, love, joy, spirituality, friendships, and activities. Anne especially enjoyed the singing in the living room. The family also thanks the General Hospital 6F Team, with special gratitude to Mochin, Yvonne, Kass, Gurjeet, and Nathaniel. We would also like to acknowledge a heartfelt “thanks for everything” to mom’s special friends, Marie Shipley-Powell, Heather Blackwell, Tin Nguyen, Kim Wood, and her longtime physician, Dr. Kriek.  We will miss Anne dearly, however we find peace in knowing that she is now comfortably in the arms of the Lord.  A Celebration of Anne’s life will take place on Thursday, March 11, 2021, starting at 10:45 a.m. To view the livestream of the service please click on the link at the top Anne’s Tribute Page.  In lieu of flowers, please consider performing a random act of kindness, or donating to a charity in memory of Anne. That would please her the most.
