Although I only met uncle Joe six or seven times I remember him as one of my favourite uncles. He always had that great smile, great wit and a zest for life.
I wish I could have seen him again and will truly miss him.
God bless you all.

I got to know Joe a little when my Mum lived on Unit 3-5. It was always a treat to see him. He always had a smile and a friendly comment. It was interesting to hear him reminisce about his life, always in a humble way. He was one of the people who made it feel like a real community there. It was a real privilege to meet him.

My condolences to Joe’s family. I had the privilege of meeting Joe when my mother-in-law was a resident of the Veterans Wing. He was a remarkable man who shared his memories of serving in Italy, and his later work with the PFRA. He had a quick wit and a great sense of humour. I will miss him, he was one of a kind!

I met Joe in approximately 1970, when we were neighbors on the 600 block of Robinson Street in Regina. I was one of the fortunate friends that he gave driver training lessons to and he later taught me how to use the 35mm Camera as well. He was always very kind and patient, a good teacher and a good friend. My husband and I felt privileged to be able to celebrate Joe's 100th Birthday with him and his family in 2018. His eulogy on the Speer's website mentioned his construction of a working miniature windmill and a working sterling engine. I am attaching a picture that I photographed at his 100th Birthday party of these items on display, along with his sign from the "Gopherhole Press".
I believe that Joe lived to 102 years of age because he was such a good man. He had a full life and now may he Rest In Peace. My husband and I send our condolences to Joe's family and friends; our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am sorry to hear of Joe's passing, I was Joe's successor at PFRA. He showed me many tricks of the job before he left PFRA. We had many laughs about the conversations regarding the PFRA patrons.

My Condolences to Joe's family. I met Joe in 2017 at Wascana. He was dad's room mate for 11/2 years until dad passed away. There was something about Joe that made an impression on me and he quickly became special to me. I enjoyed visiting with him at Wascana and listening to his many interesting experiences. I feel very fortunate our paths were able to cross, Rest In Peace Joe.

My deepest & most sincere condolences are extended to the entire Seiferling family on the recent loss of Joe. I met Joe in 2015 when my husband John became a resident on the vets ward at Wascana Rehab Center. Joe was such an interesting man who had many stories to share re: his service during the war. He also wanted to teach me to sing wooden shoes in German. Today and just for you Joe, I will wear that Yellow Ribbon you wanted our ladies group to wear when we visited each Wednesday. Heaven has gained a special Angel. RIP dear Joe.

Joe was such a respectful and sweet man. I will always remember all the nice things he said to me with his million dollar smile, which would brighten my day every time I saw him. I truly enjoyed the delicious honey he gave me as he always called me “his hunny”. Rest In Peace my friend, til we meet again.
