To the Karwandy family: I first met Barbara at St. Martin’s during the ‘70s. We participated in many activities together including a “fun” skit on “Inclusiveness”. Her unfailing smile and sense of humor permeated her life despite sorrows and loss. We later re-connected at the Globe Theatre and shared many stories about our families who grew up together through their formative years. Remembering with much affection a dear friend………….. Grace Jasper and the Boychuk family.

Barb is my Grandpa Anton Schneider's niece. This is her and I with my oldest son at the symphony a few years ago. It was so nice to see her. The last time I saw her was at my Aunt's funeral and she was so happy to say how I had come up to her just to say hi. I am fortunate to have this picture. She will be dearly missed. She was such a beautiful person.

My family and I are very saddened to hear of Barb's passing. She was the best friend of my Mom, Adeline Sprentz. Each time we went home to Regina, Barb was always a part of our family gatherings. I have jokingly said that I thought they were living together. We enjoyed many visits, often over a glass of Apothic red wine. Barb always had a smile on her face, which brightened our visits. We will miss her. We are sending our sincere condolences to the Karwandy family from our family, Laura, Henri, Jiliane, Thomas and Marcus Golczyk.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Karwandy. I grew up and went to school with Don, and have fond memories of spending many hours in the Karwandy household playing pool and listening to music. Friends of the kids were always welcome at their house, and Mrs. Karwandy always had a smile on her face. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to her and the entire family. We are sad to know that Barb has passed away. Barb was a friend of my sister Jo since they were both in grade 6 at St. Augustine School. She was often at our home or Jo at the Aumuller home. I thought of her as a member of our family. I loved Barb,s smile which seemed to light up a room. She was always so friendly and interested in our families. She will be missed by her many friends and the entire St. Martin Parish, Rest in Peace Barb. God will be happy to have you in his kingdom

Grandma Barb treated me as one of her own grandchildren from the first Sunday supper I attended! I've never met anyone more warm, loving, or kind than Barb. I feel truly blessed to have been able to make so many fantastic memories with her on family trips, weekends at the cabin, and of course her famous Sunday suppers.
Grandma, I'll be thinking of you next time (and every time) I pour a glass of Apothic Red. I love you and I can't wait to tell our little girl all about her incredible great grandma.

I have so many lovely memories of Aunty Barb and her family. She was so special, so warm and genuine and happy.
She easily shared good advice, always knew what to say to make you feel better, so accepting and caring of all people.
Aunty Barb, loved to have fun - or maybe she just made everything more fun. Her smile & laugh was infectious. We always looked forward to her visits at the farm. I recall the 1988 family reunion when she and our brother Joe conspired to make a water balloon have a large leak during the group photo!
Our lives are better for have shared it with her and I will miss her greatly.
To all of the cousins - Ken, Carol, David, Paula, and their families, we send our heartfelt sympathy knowing how much you will miss her. Cherish the memories of the days gone by, remembering your amazing mom and grandma with love and laughter.
Much Love from Mary Anne, Brad and family
