There are no words to express our sadness with Jean’s passing. We will always remember the fun times and special moments we had with both Cam and Jean. She was the consummate entertainer who welcomed everyone so generously into her home. The pride in her family was evident whenever you were around her. She raised an incredible family and we are blessed to know all of you. Our deepest condolences are going to you at this very sad time. She will always remain close to our hearts.
Love Roger and Joanne ❤️❤️

Dear Currie family,
We are so saddened to hear of the passing of your dear mom, grandma and great-grandma. Our deepest condolences to all of you. I know you are all blessed with many many beautiful memories that will bring you comfort.
The fond memories of childhood family get togethers out at White Bear and Kenosee still warm my heart. I remember your mom and dad especially for their joy and laughter. I spoke with mom on the phone this week about Jean's passing. She was also sharing about how she met your mom and dad in Moose Jaw and the many fun (and sometimes crazy!) times they would have together when they were young.
Please know we are thinking of all of you at this time and praying for peace and God's abundant grace on all of you.

Jean and her husband Cam were a very special couple. They were a delight to visit with. Jean 's hospitality was well known. I recall one spring day, many years ago, when I was a secretary at St. Pius X School where her children attended. Jean invited all staff over for lunch. I have very fond memories of Jean.

Dear Currie family,
Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your mom. Mrs. Currie was a great lady, wonderful host, entertaining guest and always a pleasure to be with.
I know you will miss her terribly but I trust you will take comfort in your great memories. I know I will never forget Mrs. Currie yelling "FHB" at the beginning of a boisterous Currie family dinner. You will have so many more, even better memories.
Have joy in the many years you had this wonderful woman as your mom and grandma and take comfort in the faith she had and taught you so well both by her example and her instruction.
Again, our sincere condolences.
Bryan (and Joanne) Hillis

We were saddened to learn of your mom's passing. Our parents were good friends and through the years they shared much fun and laughter. It was always a pleasure to visit the Curries. Your mom always welcomed us with a big smile and open arms.
" In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them, I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing when you look at the sky at night." The Little Prince - Antoine de Saint -Exupery
There is sweetness in the laughter of all the stars and in the memories of those you love. May you take comfort from those memories.
Our hearts and prayers are with you.

We are so sorry to hear the news of Jean's passing. She was an amazing mother to all of you and always so welcoming whenever we were visiting. The Currie house was often "at capacity" but Jean always seemed to find room for one or two more. She will be missed by many and we hope that you are comforted with all your wonderful memories. Wish we could be there with you in Regina.

I have such fond memories of Jean growing up. She had an open door policy for all us neighbouring kids and it created such a fun and safe environment for all of us. Cam and Jean threw some of the best New Years Eve parties to date and made some of the best hot chocolate after a cool winter tobaggan . Thank you for being a neighbouring block mom and many blessings to the family as they take time to grieve.

To all the Currie Kids,
I hope each of you find time to embrace all the wonderful moments, teachings and love your Mom gave to you. Clearly, she was an impressive woman as evidenced by the amazing children that came out of that big and welcoming home on Hill Avenue. The Currie kids are shining examples of great parenting. I’m sure your Mom spent many hours telling stories and bragging about her kids to anyone who would listen. Someone once told me that if you flip the word Mom upside down, you get Wow. I encourage you to honour your Mom in these difficult times by telling stories that leave you saying, “Wow, Mom was pretty special.”

Your family meant a great deal to me with your generous and loving nature and friendliness towards both myself and my wife at the Coors Unclassic. You made us feel as though we belonged. We appreciated it so very much. Much love to all of you. - Garth Huber

I was very unprepared for Jean’s passing, we had a conversation just a few days prior. We shared a lot of parenting skills and good friendship. Her love was very strong for all of her lovely children. We had a smile in our hearts for all occasions; she was truly a great Mom. Her legacy will be carried on by each of her children – she leaves a great family! I will remember her for her wit and laughter – a wonderful friend - I loved her – Celine.

Dear Rob, Ingrid and family:
Our heartfelt sympathies on the loss of your mother. I remember your mom and dad, with a car full of high school curlers, heading out on winter roads to small town bonspiels. Your mom would be sure to lead the group in a Hail Mary before leaving the city limits and made sure that each and every one of us were active participants in the prayer! I'll remember her as a woman of great faith, kindness, and with a keen sense of humor. At mass this morning I offered a Hail Mary for her. It seemed very appropriate.
