Farewell, my dear friend, Elaine. I first met Elaine when I started working in the Drivers Licensing Department in 1984. I still smile when I think of her eying me up the first day I joined the group under her leadership. Elaine expected quality work and that you knew what you were supposed to do AND if you were meeting the expectations. She worked just as hard as she expected us to do. She was quick witted. Elaine was very proud of her family and was always willing to share their accomplishments. They were wonderful kids growing up as I never heard anything negative that they did in the 11 years I worked with her. After she retired, we exchanged cards at Christmas and if I was lucky I bumped into her at the mall or somewhere during the year. Rest well my friend. Your work here on earth is done. God needed you up in Heaven with him to make sure everyone has all the right credentials and things are working as they should. To the family, remember all the good times and that she cherished you to the moon and back.
