A couple photos of Art that I came across which show the kind of character he was. Always good for a laugh or two! The photo on the left was labelled "Swift Current 1991 with Brad Gross & Brian Humble". Would love it if someone could provide any more background on this photo. Sure looks like it was a fun party!

I too worked with Art at SaskTel but my best memories are cheering for the Leafs along side Art at the annual SaskTel NHL playoff pool, conducted in person at the Eagles club. Hopefully we can reconvene the pool in 2022 and hoist a beer to Art before I blow my chances of winning by picking too many Leafs (just like Art used to do).

Hi I worked with your dad at SaskTel when I first started. We got along instantly and would trade jokes and laugh. I called him my "city" dad as my dad didn't live in the city. I always enjoyed stopping by his office to chat. He would always tell me tell your husband and you come for a "rum". I did go a couple of times when your mom was alive and had a rum with them in their basement. Ernie would always get us together to have lunch, either Ernie would pick up your dad or your dad would park his car at the Eagles and walk downtown to where we met for lunch. I had just talked to your dad when he moved into the new place. He was really enjoying it and met a lot of nice people. He always talked about his boys and grandchild. He was so proud.
Rest in Peace Art.

Greg, Jeff and family,
I first met Art when he and his parents came to watch Gord play ball at Crescent Park. When I joined SaskTel, I played ball with Art on the company team. Helen also worked in my department. We enjoyed many rounds of golf together over the years.
Betty and I enjoyed our coffee visits with Art every Wednesday at Southland Mall until last year when COVID prevented our getting together. However, I always kept in touch with Art via phone several times a week.
May your memories bring comfort knowing that Art is now reunited with Helen.
Sincerely,
Don Dorsey and Betty Hoffart

Our condolences Jeff, Greg & to the entire Elborne Family! We remember Art as caring, and always looking for the next fun time! Pictured here is Art’s first experience when we have a special chef (me) make flambé bananas for dessert in 2016. He had a great time! Take care guys, and know that your Dad was a good man!

One of my favorite recent photos of Dad and I from July 2019 when we went to pickup a new vanity and faucet for the bathroom downstairs. We needed one more thing which, naturally, was at the other end of the store and Dad's legs were getting tired so I told him to "Hop on and lead the way!" - Jeff.
