It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Keith Arthur (Art) Elborne on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the age of 82 years. He was born on June 16, 1938 in Brandon, Manitoba to Neville and Donalda Elborne, both of whom are predeceased. Art is also predeceased by his brother, Gordon. He grew up in Regina and remained there throughout his adult life. On May 18, 1963 he married Helen Marie Holo of Rose Valley, Saskatchewan who is also predeceased. Art is survived by his two sons, Greg (Marilyn) of Edmonton, Alberta and Jeff (Karen) of Bolingbrook, Illinois; as well as his granddaughter, Alyssa, also of Bolingbrook, Illinois. He worked for Sask-Tel and retired after 35 years of service. Art was an avid sports fan and staunch supporter of the Saskatchewan Roughriders as well as the Regina Pats. He was also a lifelong Toronto Maple Leafs fan. Art was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles club and desired to have a memorial service held there. However, due to restrictions caused by the Covid pandemic, this is not possible at this time but may be scheduled at a later date once the restrictions have been lifted. In June 2020, Art moved into the Brightwater Senior Living of Capital Crossing facility and will be dearly missed by the many friends he made in his short time there. A Private Interment Service will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery.
