Lucie. I know it has been four earth months since you left this world. I only just heard the news of your passing when I wished you a Happy Birthday on facebook. It has been many years since we met in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Oh, how I wish we could have continued with our friendship. You went one way and I went the other. Your kindness and gentleness was felt by all who knew you. Now, the keepers of the Spiritual Universe and those who passed before you will experience your Specialness.
Walk among the angels Lucie. That's where you belong.
Farewell. my friend. We will meet again.
Yvette...

I am a good friend of Suzanne’s. I met Lucie at Suzanne’s 50th birthday bash. She was a bunch of fun and treated me as if we’d known each other for years. I am so sorry for your loss. It is evident how much love was shared in your family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. It was a lovely service today.

Lucie was a new “old” friend. We met several years ago and knew immediately we were kindred spirits.
I deeply valued her friendship and appreciated her many gifts.
She leaves behind a multitude of people who will remember her with much love.
My condolences to all her family, thank you for sharing such a beautiful soul.
She will be missed, but not forgotten.

For Lucie Dufour’s Family,
I’ve known Lucie only a few years. We lived in the same apartment block - Hamilton Plaza. We often sat outside while she waited for her son and grandchildren to pick her up. Oh how she loved those little ones When Covid hit, Lucie starting making face masks as one of her many projects she was working on. Very lovely lady whom we shared a lot of the same opinions. I will miss Lucie and extend my heartfelt condolences to all her family.

This is probably the 5th time I have tried to write this and tried to find the right words. It is with a heavy heart I write this. You may have been my sister in law but you were like a sister to me. You had such a big heart, you were one of those people that really would have given the shirt off your back to anyone, especially that stranger on the street. It was your nature to give and never expect anything anything in return, I don't know if you even realized that, that's who you were. I think the world around you transformed you into something more special because you saw beauty in everything. I could go on finding good things to say about you but I think I'll say just one last thing, I could be sad, mad, bitter or whatever but then I would see your smile and remember the hardships you you survived and still, there was that smile that to you was just a smile but to me it was comforting. I will always remember your quiet, helpful, comforting demeaner and never, never forget you. Until we meet again many hugs
