My condolences and prayers to the family. I haven't seen Mike in years and was completely shocked. Mike was one of the first people I met after moving to Estevan in elementary school and we quickly became friends as he was one of the first to welcome the 'new kid'. He had such a warm personality, was quick with a joke or bit of sarcasm, always had time for his friends and had a way of connecting with people. He was a great guy and will be missed! Danielle, I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear of Michael's passing. I cannot imagine what the last two years have been like for you and my heart just goes out to you and your family. Life can be so unfair and I wish that things were different for all of you. If all the wishes in the world could change things I am sure that they've all been wished. My deepest condolences to your whole family. Mike was one in a million, smart, compassionate, encouraging and ridiculously funny. I met him while working at SaskPower. I don’t think there was a day that went by when I wouldn’t laugh with full tears in my eyes, from Mike. I can remember numerous days, showing up to work and Mike had bought me a cookie and a lottery ticket. He will be missed so much, and I will cherish my memories of him forever.
