I have come across Michael’s obituary accidentally, and am saddened to learn of his passing. Michael was in my grade 8 class at River Heights Jr High. He was a delightful, sweet, cheerful class clown, who loved the Penguin character from Batman, imitating him to the teacher’s annoyance! Michael had a love for pigeons, and once brought them to class, for an astonishing and informative presentation. It is so fitting that he became a zoologist, and had an innate love for animals. My condolences to his family and friends, and to his partner, Ken. He was taken too soon.

Sending hugs and prayers to our brother Kenny. Mike was an awesome friend. Always loved our visits. Had so many interesting stories. Was the master of plants and animals whether alive or as a taxidermist. Rest In Peace Mike. No more pain. You can now breathe easy and be at peace. You will be missed. Kenny you are in our prayers. We ask Jesus to give you peace and wrap his loving arms around you at this very sad time.
