When was about 11 my Mother, Janet took us from BC to Saskatchewan on a Greyhound bus. This was a terrible and difficult time for me for many reasons. However, I will always remember visiting Uncle Arnie and Aunty Izzy. During that visit Uncle Arnie stood up for me when no one else did. That meant so much to me. I don’t know if I ever told him that.
Whenever I would visit Regina I would make sure to visit Uncle Arnie and Aunty Izzy. We would often play crib and have lots of laughs. I just recently came with my husband Randy and daughter Carrington. I am so glad they got to meet.
Uncle Arnie will be deeply missed. I wish I could give him one more hug and hear his voice and jolly laugh.
Our condolences to Izzy and family.

My condolences to the Ladwig family and to Issy for your loss of Arnie . Issy my heart and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. I will miss seeing Arnie on New Years Eve in our celebrations at my Aunt Janet and Waverly’s home. Such a beautiful photo of Arnie and his favourite pal who I’m sure will be waiting for Arnie when he reaches the heavens.

Joyce and I send our sincere condolences to the entire Ladwig family and especially “Aunt Issy”. When I think of “Uncle Arnie” it’s his bright smile, energized with his eyes, and accompanied by his laugh that always comes to mind. My favourite memories of him include learning a new way to enjoy breakfast eggs as we prepared for my first deer hunting trip. I will always be grateful for his help and for both him and Issy being my Uncle and Aunt. We will be honoured to attend his celebration in person.
