Doug, Stu & I were fortunate to grow up with the Koochicum family as neighbours, classmates & friends. Paul was a guy with a great sense of humour and whose smile could light up any room. His loyalty made him a true & trusted friend to many. His prowess in all sports also stood out. Of special mention was his 'ace' pitching which twice (1955 & 1957) led our ball team from the wee hamlet of Talmage to the southern semi-finals where we contested with the major cities. Well done Paul. Our condolences to all the Koochicum families on the loss of a fine man. Roger, Doug & Stu McRae
