Obituary of Paul Harvey Koochicum

Surrounded by love and family, our beautiful dad, Paul Koochicum Sr.; a big brother; loving husband; fun grandfather; great-grandfather; uncle; cousin; and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at the age of 78.

Paul was predeceased by his parents Frank and Ivy Koochicum; baby Angel Son; brother Bobby; granddaughter Sensheera, and numerous family and friends.

He is survived by loving wife, Margaret; children Ruthann (Al), Paulette (Mike), Paul Jr (Pauline) and Rita (Denny); step-children Don and Velise (Mark); sisters Jolene, Helen (Al) and Connie; baby brother Doug (Louise); as well as nieces, nephews and cousins too numerous to mention, all of whom he loved.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Monday, October 11, 2021 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Service will be at Speers Funeral Chapel on Wednesday October 13, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.. Private interment to follow as per his request. We ask that everyone wear a mask, as per covid regulations. Masks will be provided to those who do not have one.

The family would like to thank the hospital staff at Melville’s St. Peter’s Hospital who took great care of him; Home Care nurses Lois Dixon; Karen Loveridge; and Amyotte Bellegarde; staff from Pasqua Hospital and 4C Unit; the Alan Blair Cancer Centre; and all the Specialists and Doctors who cared for him.
