Katrine and I worked together at The Office for the Prevention of Family Violence in the early 90's in Edmonton. She was a great mentor to me in work and in life. We became friends and stayed in touch (although infrequently) even after she moved to Saskatchewan. I visited her in Regina a few years ago and we had supper together at the facility where she was living. Katrine had an indomitable spirit.......always working through challenges. Always ready with a smile or a laugh. Such a beautiful woman. I will miss her being in this world.

Colin and family, Barbara. Anne and Joe,
Although I have never met you, I heard many stories from Katrine about you during the years I worked with her at SK Justice. We were colleagues who became friends and shared a passion for shopping on our work trips together. The photo you chose is the Katrine I remember. I think of her when I read this quote: 'You can always tell where a beautiful soul has been by the tears and the smiles left behind. My condolences to all of you.

I worked a number of years with Katrine. She was a very classy, generous lady. She dealt very well with Parkinson's and didn't let it hold her back.
My condolences to family and friends.

I was saddened to read of Katrina’s passing. I had the privilege of meeting and serving this wonderful lady at Alford’s Interiors. She was a loyal customer and enjoyed helping her with design of her residents over the years. She was always enthusiastic and a pleasure to work with. My deepest sympathy to her family and friends.
