Obituary of John William Grabarczyk

John passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 31, 2021 in Regina, SK. He was predeceased by his son Roderick and grandson Ethan. John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 Years, Jean; children, Yvonne (Gordon), Ashley and Amber; Chester (Carla), Eva and Cruz; Basil (Andrea), Hayley and Desana; Jeremy; Jennifer; and daughter-in-law Maureen, Ryan, Rachelle and Mya; as well as numerous family and friends. He was born on August 15, 1927 in Oblekon, Poland. John immigrated with his parents to Kelliher, SK, where he attended Johnson School. John’s passion for farming developed at a young age, while working alongside his father. He would go on to enjoy life on the farm for over 80 years. John particularly enjoyed being his own boss. He was a dedicated father, who took an active interest in his children and always encouraged them to pursue their interests, be independent, and further their education. John had a strong bond with his four brothers and two sisters, and always looked forward to their visits. A special thank you to the staff at Queen Victoria Estates, Pasqua Hospital 4D, and Bright Water Senior Living, for their care and compassion. A celebration of John’s life will be held at a later date.
