My sincerest condolences to Derick and the Lorenc family. Andrew was a rare person that always seemed to have a smile for everyone. While he seemed quiet at first, he had quite the witty sense of humor and loved a good story or joke. Anyone who worked with him would agree that he was brilliant at what he did and cared deeply about his work. He was devoted to family and I know he'll be deeply missed. I can still picture his warm smile and can only hope that those memories will help carry the family through this.

Andrew will be dearly missed. I was fortunate enough to have known and worked with Andrew.
He always had something good to share a big smile, laughter, happiness, his lunch.
It was beautiful to see how much he loved his family.
Just coming by his office he would say “Come here I have something to show you” and you know right away it was
something related to his children’s successes in school or generally in life.
My condolences to the Lorenc family.

Andrew will be missed. I have worked with Andrew, he was very smart, patient and kind. I will remind him every time I see beautiful cherry blossom trees, since he loved those and enjoyed sharing pictures of the trees he grew in his backyard.
My condolences to the Lorenc family.

We were fortunate to have known Andrzej at a personal and professional level. He was always kind, friendly and cheerful, passionate about his family and his garden. We laughed, sang, and danced together at our community events. Through his presence and storytelling he shared positive emotions among those around him. Andrzej will be greatly missed but his kindness, gentle spirit and contagious laugh will be remembered forever. Our hearts are breaking for Derrick and the Lorenc family. May each lasting memory of all you shared ease your pain and gently bring comfort to your hearts.

I was fortunate enough to have known and worked with Andrew. He was always a stress buster. I never saw him angry, sad, stressed or anxious. He was like a laughing buddha – spreading happiness and peace all around him. Always excited to share gardening tips, knowledge and garden produce. The cherry trees in my backyard will always remind me of him. Loved to talk about his children and how much he admired and adored them. Rest in peace - Dear Friend. You will be dearly missed. May God grant strength to the Lorenc family in this hour of grief.

I am very sorry to hear of Andrew’s passing. Andrew was such a wonderful and caring person and always wore his heart on his sleeve. It was always nice to hear of how happy he was when his family was planning visits/trips or working in his garden. He was always one for jokes and friendly interludes with coworkers while in the office and was always one to share his delicious food with others. There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for others and he will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the Lorenc family during this difficult time.

My condolences to Lorenc family on the loss of your father, son, brother. Andrew was a wonderful person. I was lucky to have worked with him for over a decade. Coming into the office at the same time in the morning inevitably meant meeting in the office kitchen. In spring/summer, talk would be of our gardens and particularly, Andrew's pride - his tomatoes! He was so generous in sharing his knowledge of gardening and the bounty of his garden with others. His face always lit up when he talked about his children - he was very proud of them and whatever they were doing. Rest in peace, Andrew - we will miss you!

My heartfelt condolences to Derrick and the entire family. I will miss his humor and passion. Break time was never a dull moment with him as there was always politics to complain about, family to brag about, or reno photos to show. I was forever texting him pictures of mushrooms I would find to see if they were poison or not. We will miss this knowledge as I am sure he saved my animals on more then one occasion from eating a mushroom that was harmful. His stories of his kids never ended. One that comes top of mind was when he bought his daughter a Canadian Goose Winter jacket, he was so excited to give that to her. Everyone who worked with you or met you is better for it. Rest Easy.

Andrew was such a sweetheart to me. He was always so kind and generous, ever since I started working with him. He was so passionate to rebuild his home and shared details of how the new home will look like. He was so strong to be back up. His kids were his ultimate pride. He was on cloud nine that his son is coming back to Regina and daughter is getting all settled up. He found happiness in little things and shared a bucket full of cherries and cherry plants with my family. Those plants in our yard will always remind us of you.
You will always be in my memory, Andrew and I hope you are in a better place now. I wish your kids, Derick, family and the rest of us gather the strength through such a difficult time.

I had the privilege of working with Andrew for the past 8 years at the City of Regina. For many of those years, Andrew was my office neighbour and would pop in daily to say hello and chat. Last year, at Christmas time, I arrived in my office to the sight of a pink Disney princess gift bag. Not wanting to ruin the surprise, I did not peek inside. After a few minutes of working away at my computer, I couldn't figure out where the intense smell of garlic was emanating from. The Princesses were hiding several of Andrew's famous sausages and some mustard to go along with the treat. I was so grateful for his thoughtfulness. I also enjoyed the pictures of his garden that he would share with me. It looked like such a lovely place to escape to and enjoy a bit of peace. He was always so friendly and loved to share stories about his children. I never met them, but felt like I had. I send condolences to all Andrew’s friends and family for the loss of this kind and thoughtful man. I will miss him greatly and remember him fondly.

I love you so much, Dad. I will cherish all of our memories, especially us dancing together to your Polish music on road trips, our Sunday suppers, the time my tennis ball landed in your soup, and playing Winnie-the-Pooh sticks when Jon and I were kids. You will always be my everything. I miss you dearly.
