Dear Bardutz family, I am sorry circumstances did not allow me to attend Aunt Edith’s funeral Wednesday past. I did view the service via tape recording and was pleased to see that a number of people did attend. The service was solemn and respectful. In the tradition I followed family members are allowed opportunities to speak as did my children at their mother’s funeral,. I would have enjoyed hearing the children’s comments. Life has delivered a sad blow by separating us so much, it is sad this continues in death.I never got to know Aunt Edith well, having one meal at Christmas 1956. However her passing does bring much sorrow and emptiness. At this time in your journey in life, may you come to know peace in your hearts and may the peace be your way in life. Peace to all of you.
