Obituary of Edwin Harold Seed

Edwin Harold, aged 94 years, passed joyfully into the presence of the Lord Jesus on Saturday, January 8, 2022. Left to cherish his memory are his four children, Carol (Chris) Tallowin, Gerry (Dorothy) Seed, Ruth (Rich) Sobers, and  Marilyn Seed; daughter-in-law Marcie Seed; sister Lenore (Arnot) Hawkins; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and many dear friends. Edwin was  predeceased by his loving wife, Betty; son Keith; two brothers Howard and Lyle; and his parents Harold and Eva. Edwin was raised and helped out on the family farm near Tregarva, eventually taking over from his father until retirement and the sale of the farm several years ago. As part of the fellowship at Bethany Gospel Chapel Ed served as an elder for many years and was actively involved in pastoral care to many within and without the church body. He was known for his quick wit and kind, caring attitude to all. Many people benefitted from his gracious advice, suggestions, and guidance from his many years of experience. Edwin’s unwavering faith in God and his trust in the Bible and its teachings have left an indelible impression on all those who have had the privilege of knowing him.
