Obituary of Constance Louise Yakimchuk

Constance Louise Yakimchuk, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully in her home on the 6^th of January at the age of 71 years. She was predeceased by her father William Lauer and her husband Bernard Yakimchuk.  Conni is survived by her mother Louise Lauer of Greenville PA; brother William Lauer of Charleston SC; son Michael Yakimchuk of Ottawa ON and her grandsons Adam, Theodore and John of Ottawa ON. Conni is also survived by a wonderful group of close friends in Regina and scattered throughout the world.

Conni lived a full life, she was born and raised in Pittsburgh PA. At the age of 16 she came to Canada, attending secondary school in Toronto. She then moved to Ottawa where she was educated at Carleton University and met and married her husband. Soon after marriage she moved to Regina where she called home for close to 50 years. In Regina she raised her child and pursued her career.
