It is with a heavy heart, the family of Denise announce her sudden passing on Monday, January 17, 2022. She was born in Wakaw, SK, June 20, 1953. Denise spent many years working for the Government of Saskatchewan. She was fiercely loyal to her family and inner circle. Denise will be remembered as the best grandma, extremely knowledgeable, having a great sense of humour and a little sassy. In her spare time, Denise enjoyed doing puzzles, going for dinner with friends and watching movies with her granddaughter, Peyton. Denise faced many battles throughout her life but always came out on top. When she lost her husband in July 2020, she was truly heartbroken. 

 

Denise was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Doris Thibault; her husband Wes Turner, her brother, Ed Thibault; and her grandson, Michael Harding. She leaves behind her daughter, Morgan (Kelly); step-children, Joanne, Scott, Dale and Glen; sister, Lucille (René); brothers, Roger (Debbie) and Eugene; sister-in-law, Marie; grandchildren Derek (Michelle) and Peyton; and great grandchildren; Avery and Carson.

 

Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. To view the livestream of the service please click on the link above which will be made available on the day of the service. Cremation will follow. A larger gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date in the Bonne Madone Chapel and Cemetery.
