Dear Dulcie and family: We are so very sorry to hear of Mr. Powers passing. We always knew him as "Mr. Powers" and we have the most lovely memories of him. From church activities, hockey coaching and as a Lions club member. We remember him as the kindest, most engaging and friendly man we knew throughout our childhood and into adulthood. We are thinking of all of you, from the McCandless family.(Nancy, Lisa and David)

Dulcie and family,
I was very sad to hear of Dan's passing. I have known him all my life, growing up on Aberdeen St. Working at SaskPower I would see him often and always had a nice chat. St. James' Church was the connection we all had and Dad (Chuck Steen) was always happy to see him and have him in the boy's coffee group! We will miss him.

Dear Dulcie & family.
I'm sorry to hear about Danny. He was a great cousin. I'm very proud to be on the same family tree as him. He was really fun to be around. He always had a joke or two to make you feel happy. I miss all the good card games that we had with all the cousins.
Rest now, Danny. Be at peace.

Uncle Danny always had a special place in my heart. As a child growing up in Regina I have such fond memories of him trying to teach me to swim & to catch & throw a baseball. He was a very positive influence in my life & will always cherish his memory. Our heartfelt condolences & love go out to all of the family.

While we don't often get to visit family in Regina, every moment we do spend with family is special. Last summer's Powers family reunion was an especially precious moment. What a blessing it was to see Grandpa with the love of his life, surrounded by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is much loved and will be missed. We send our love to everyone back home.
Love,
Kaycee, Gabie & Marc

I remember Uncle Danny sitting on the couch in the living room with my Dad cheering and shouting while watching a riders game. Mom, Aunty Dulcie and Debbie would be in the kitchen getting food ready and setting the table, while us kids would be sliding down the laundry shute in a cupboard in the bathroom. Periodically one of us would get stuck in the shute and Uncle Danny would come to the rescue and help us out, saving the day. And then we would start all over again. He was always there to give a helping hand and never uttered a stern word (none that I can remember).
