I was sorry to hear about Leonard’s death. He and Jackie were always welcoming hosts to me and my family, ever since I met them when I was Kate’s roommate at university. Len was interested in world events from the English point of view (where I’ve lived for thirty years) and we had some lively chats. We were honoured to tell him about our visits to his brother’s grave in France when we have attended D Day commemorations. I know Len and Jackie were supportive parents to their children and grandchildren and I send my love and sympathy to Kate and all the family at this sad time. Shirley Quick
