Obituary of Joan Hovdebo

Beloved partner, mother, and grandmother, Barbara Joan Hovdebo, of Regina, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully on Monday, February 7, 2022, with her family at her side.  Born in Calgary, she was the daughter of the late William Cunningham Greig Jr. and Barbara Davidson Greig (McNie); sister to Bill Greig (Jan Hodges); wife to Allen Hovdebo (deceased); partner to Linda Wood; mother to Jeff Hovdebo (Marcia Clearwater), Jordan Hovdebo (Bronwyn Butler-Jones), and second mother to Terry Wood and Steven Wood and her cherished grandchildren are Lillian, William, and Elizabeth Hovdebo.

The family wishes to thank all the healthcare workers who cared so compassionately for Joan and her family at the SICU at the General Hospital and the Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life for Joan at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. All those in attendance are invited to wear Joan's favourite colour, blue.
