Dear Don and family, We are very sorry to hear of Marilyn’s passing and send our sincerest condolences. I had the privilege of curling with her for many years. She was a true competitor, but she also really enjoyed the game of curling. I was truly amazed by how much she gave back to the sport through her volunteer work. Most of all, it will be Marilyn’s great sense of humor that I will remember most and the many laughs that our team shared together. She also had a deep love for her family which was evident very time she spoke of them. She will be greatly missed. Linda Kloschinsky and Rodney Francis

Don and Family,
Our deepest sympathy for the loss of Marilyn. Celia informed me that she had lost her long time friend Marilyn..her oldest friend. Her boisterous laugh and sunny personality stood her out, what a treasure of a human.
Marilyn also was my CGIT leader for a few years. I must mention that she was not the typical leader..we had a few adventures that really we should not have had haha..what a character!
I pray that your wonderful memories sustain you in your grief.
Rob and Christina Zaleschuk

My deepest sympathy to Don, Mandie, Jason and family. I have had the great pleasure of knowing Marilyn through Mandie, my daughter-in-law. We have shared many good times during her visits to Ottawa, around some good meals, celebrations, etc. What impressed me about Marilyn was her love of life, her happy nature and her generosity, not to mention her wonderful cooking and baking (which I happily sampled). I will miss her and cherish all the happy memories - she has a special place in my heart.

My deepest condolences, Don and Family, on your loss. Marilyn was truly a wonderful person, and I am so glad that I had the opportunity to meet and spend time with her. To me, Marilyn was a beautiful person inside and out, always happy, witty and upbeat, always a positive person with a ready smile. Although I kept Marilyn in my nightly prayers, I guess it just wasn't meant to be, but she will always be in my memories. Be strong, Don, but cry when you need or want to. Get mad too. This all helps.
