Mabel Agnes Wolf was a kind and generous wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.  She left this world on February 19, 2022 at age 90.  Mabel was born on a cold day on December 5, 1931 to John and Caroline Leibel and raised on a farm near Pilot Butte. She married the love of her life, Edward Wolf on July 19, 1954 (who preceded her in death).  Together they had 3 children, Art (Lee), Ron (Debbie), and Audrey (Wayne).  Mabel was blessed with 8 grandchildren, Bradley (Susannah), Jonathan (Brittany), Trevor (Deanna), Melissa (Andrew), Jason, Trista (Josh), Blake (Ashley), and Kayla; and 4 great grandchildren; Evelyn, Amaya, Tate, and Vincent. Mabel started working at Eaton’s in the 1950’s. Shortly after their marriage Mabel and Ed purchased a farm near Craven, SK where they operated a vegetable market garden and mixed farming.  In 1971 they purchased the local store and named it Wolf’s M&M, which they owned for 25 years. Mabel was Postmistress for 15 years during this time. They later also diversified into strawberry farming.  Mabel had many endeavors in life and enjoyed baking, cooking, going to church and gardening.  She did not enjoy when the deer interfered with any of the former. You could often catch Mabel baking cinnamon buns, watching Bold and the Beautiful, or volunteering at church and the local senior’s home.    The family would like to acknowledge the attentive care provided by Dr. Geddes, the Palliative Home Care team, and the nurses on Unit 3A at the Regina Pasqua Hospital. A Private Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. To view the livestream of the service please click on the link above, which will be made available on the date and time of the service.
