If you wanted to have an enjoyable day on the golf course you hoped your ‘ball’ was drawn from the hat with Joes ball!
You knew you were going to have many chuckles from Joes one liners.
Joe was an amazing man with a terrific outlook on life,
To Terry and all his family, take care in knowing your father lived a full life and was loved by so many more.

In December 2019 we had a young man stay with us through Lion’s International Youth Exchange. Will Honeyman from Nhill Australia wanted to experience winter in Sask. which of course had to include his first experience of ice fishing. Joe graciously accepted the task of being Will’s guide. Though neither Joe or Will caught a fish that afternoon, Will left the ice smiling, having thoroughly enjoyed the new experience because of Joe’s kindness, knowledge of fishing and his ability to share a Good story.
Our sincere condolences to Joe’s family.

Uncle Joe “my humble, kind, only uncle”
Terry & Carrie. I was heartbroken to hear of Uncle Joe’s passing. Comforted knowing he lived a good life and alot of happy loving people were waiting to greet him on the other side. Many memories from my early teenage years hanging around the boat house, working at the beach concession, learning about filleting fish to his traditional cooking, smoking methods. So proud to call him family. Uncle Joe, I will miss you dearly. Regretfully I will be unable to attend his celebration. I will pay my respects later when I travel to the beach.
Lastly a thank you to Uncle’s special friend Betty for your companionship, joy and I am sure happiness you brought to Uncle’s life after Auntie Bev’s passing. Grateful.

Our deepest condolences to all of Joe's family, he was a great guy and will be truly missed. He was always willing to lend a hand and never scared to get his hands dirty. Which eventually got him the name of #1 employee at ET's Recreational. We will never forget all the help and support he gave us over the years, we will truly miss him ❤ He was one of a kind with the big heart ❤❤ Brent and Karen

Thanks Brent and Karen,
Tinkering over small engines after his boathouse years was not only something he loved but it was also something he was very good at. Throw in some visiting, a free coffee and the ability to help someone out and Joe was at his best.
He talked often about the time spent helping out with cart repairs and how he had become ET's " #1 Employee". lol.
I know you could have done it all without him, But we are sure glad you didn't.
Thanks for being a good friend.
Terry

Our deepest sympathies in the loss of a wonderful man. Joe was a great friend to us….he was instrumental in teaching all about ice fishing, where to fish and most importantly how to filet the fish so it was bone free. His sense of humour and bright smile made the day for so many. And watching his infamous cross handed golf swing on the golf course was legendary. The beach won’t be the same without him….he truly was Regina Beach. RIP Joe…we will miss you. Roger and Joanne Aldag ❤️❤️

Condolences to Terry Carrie and your family. 20 years I worked along side Joe. Day night or weekends he was dedicated to the residents of Regina Beach, he go above and beyond to help the residents with anything possible. It didn’t matter if he liked you he get the job done and we’d discuss the individual with a chuckle after. Lots a good memories with Joe, I’m going to miss our Saturday morning chats or chatting at the pier, mostly about our community. I was always happy to weld up a new stove for his fish shack and Joe would say it doesn’t have to be big, just enough to keep my shack warm and a fry pan for my fish. I’m going to miss his celebration of life and I’m sure many stories, but my thoughts will be with the family. I’ll drop by his final resting spot to pay my respects. RIP Joe

My sincere condolences Terry, Carrie and Family: Your Dad was definitely "One of the Best"! His smile was absolutely contagious, and he had a wicked sense of humor. My Dad and Joe were great fishing buddies, and super fishermen (I heard many stories of their accomplishments). My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you!
