My most sincere condolences to Val and family. I first met John in Assiniboia where he worked as an auxiliary constable. His dedication and professionalism was profound. You knew when you worked with John he had your back. I also had the pleasure of playing golf with him on many occasions with the last being in Arizona. I will miss you dear friend and will cherish the memories ❤️

When my oldest was but months old we met Uncle John and Auntie Val and had a great houseboat trip in SK. Such a great husband, dad and uncle. He was admired by all. I will always remember his big laugh. I see him with my mom and Auntie Susie and all the others siblings dearly missed - sitting around laughing and singing. Maybe catching a big fish too!!! Love to you auntie and cousins.

I worked with John on numerous occasions during my time posted in Assiniboia. We became friends & shared many great times. We even got to visit in Nova Scotia, several years ago, when he detoured to the east coast on the way down south. He’ll never be forgotten. Prayers sent to Val & the rest of the family……Morgan MacPherson

John was a kind and thoughtful man. One year I couldn't make it over to Regina in time for Christmas and John and Val took in my son, Dan and gave a loving and memorable day. A few years later Dan and Jeff were coming to visit us in Florida so John drove through a snow storm to Winnipeg, even had to get off highway 1 to make the flight on time. Jeff, I think you are like your Dad. We will miss him.
